Korotsky Selected 2nd-Team All-Northeast-10

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University sophomore outfielder Stacey Korotsky (Raynham/ Bridgewater-Raynham HS) earned a slot on the All-Northeast-10 Conference softball second team, based on voting by the conference's 15 head coaches.

Korotsky led coach Terry M. Prouty's team in hitting, finishing at .328 overall, .385 in conference games and a sizzling .443 in NE10 Northeast Division action. She totaled 42 hits, doubling her total from her freshman season, and shared the team lead in on base percentage at .381.

Korotsky, who spent most of the year playing left and batting second, closed out the season with a 13-game hitting streak, the longest by a Falcon since 2010. During that stretch, she batted .413 for the Falcons.

Korotsky also played well defensively with no errors in her final 31 games.

Bentley finished the season with a 15-27 record, including 10-11 in Northeast Division contests.
