In the opener, Slavin had an RBI single in the first, an RBI on a ground out in the third, an RBI single to center in fourth and an RBI double to right in the fifth.

During game two, Slavin led the Falcons with a two-run single to right center in the third, an infield single in the fifth and a two-run double down the right field line in the sixth.

The Ravens battled back with two in the fourth, three in the fifth and two more in the sixth before grad student Hannah King (Kennebunk, Maine/Kennebunk HS) came in to close out the game in the seven. She gave up two hits before getting the final two outs and stranding two in scoring position.

Senior right fielder Chelsea Vena (Matawan, N.J./Saint John Vianney HS) also had a big game for Bentley in the opener, with two hits , two runs scored and three RBI. Freshman center fielder Juliana Romeo (Greenville, R.I./Smithfield HS) helped out with two hits, including an RBI triple during the big third inning.

In game two, Bentley reversed a two-run deficit with four runs in the third inning. Senior left fielder Kelsey Kennedy (Bedford, N.H./Bedford HS) had a bases-loaded RBI single to left center that brought in one, Slavin followed with a two-run single and Romeo plated Kennedy with an RBI single to left.

Bentley broke the game open with two runs in the fifth and four in the sixth making it a 10-3 game. Slavin was involved in three of the four during the sixth, driving in two and later scoring on a single by freshman catcher Jillian Parinello (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial HS).

Franklin Pierce closed within four with a pair of seventh-inning home runs, but it was too little, too late for the Ravens (1-21, 1-7 NE10 Northeast).

Bentley's 15 hits included three by Slavin and two apiece from junior shortstop Catie Noons (North Dighton, Mass./Dighton-Rehoboth Reg. HS), senior third baseman Katelyn Lebreux (Biddeford, Maine/Biddeford HS), Kennedy, Romeo and Parinello.
