Ferris & Kennedy Selected for All-Northeast-10 Honors

Bentley University softball players Kelly Ferris (Seymour, Conn./Seymour HS) and Kelsey Kennedy (Bedford, N.H./Bedford HS) have been selected for the 2016 All-Northeast-10 Conference third team, the conference announced today. Ferris is a senior pitcher and Kennedy a junior outfielder.
Kennedy Has 3 Hits, but Bentley Swept by Southern New Hampshire, 3-2 and 1-0

Junior left fielder Kelsey Kennedy (Bedford, N.H./Bedford HS) had three hits for the Bentley University softball team, but the Falcons came up short in both ends of a Northeast-10 Conference Northeast Division doubleheader Saturday afternoon at the SNHU Softball Field. Southern New Hampshire, which clinched the division title, prevailed 3-2 in the opener and used a seventh-inning run to take game two, 1-0.
Ferris & Smith Combine to Shutout Southern New Hampshire, 1-0

The Bentley University Falcons pounded out 30 hits, including 18 in the nightcap, and posted a pair of five-run second innings while sweeping Franklin Pierce University, 8-0 and 11-3, in Northeast-10 Conference Northeast Division softball on Senior Day Saturday afternoon at Bentley. The two wins lifted the Falcons into sole possession of first place in the Northeast Division.
