Connor Repeat Selection on Academic All-Northeast-10 Softball Team

WALTHAM, Mass. – Shannon Connor (West Haven, Conn./West Haven HS), the leading hitter for the Bentley University Falcons each of the last four seasons, has been selected for the Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference softball team for the second straight year. She was one of five repeaters on the 13-player team.

A team captain, Connor batted .337 while posting a .418 slugging percentage, a .393 on base percentage and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. The team-leader in hits, RBI and OBP scored 17 times, drove in 15 runs and had 32 putouts, the second most by an NE-10 outfielder without an error.

Connor finished her career with a .316 average, tenth best in program history, in 142 career games. On Bentley's all-time lists, she also ranks third in singles (115) and sixth in total hits (136).

Connor achieved a 3.50 grade point average as a corporate finance and accounting major. She graduated Cum Laude on May 16.
