WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University senior Graham Chapski (East Greenwich, R.I./East Greenwich HS) has been named the Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference after leading the Falcons during the Trevecca Nazarene Division II Showcase in Nashville.

Chapski, in his first race of the season, was the first Bentley runner to reach the finish line, placing 23rd in a field of 145 with a time of 26:56.7.

Last fall, Chapski earned Division II All-East honors from the USTFCCCA after placing ninth in the NCAA Division II East Regional. He was also a second-team All-Northeast-10 honoree following a ninth place finish in the conference championships.

Also recognized by the conference, with selection to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll, was sophomore Paige Fehskens (Wareham/Wareham HS). She was the top finisher for the women's team, crossing the line in 21st place, achieving a 19:35.7 for 5,000 meters.

The next action for the Bentley cross country teams is the New England Championships at Franklin Park.
