CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Bentley University senior All-America Holt Sihvonen (Lebanon, Conn./Lyman Memorial HS) closed out his career and the Falcons' 2017-18 athletic season Saturday by competing in the javelin at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the Irwin Belk Complex.

Sihvonen finished 16th of 18 in the championships after posting a throw of 190 feet, 11 inches (58.19 meters) on his final throw. He fouled on his first attempt of the day and posted a distance of 178'10" on his second throw.

Sihvonen, who finished ninth in the javelin at the 2017 championships, is a two-time Northeast-10 Conference champion, a four-time All-New England honoree and a four-time All-East Region performer.
