BOSTON, Mass. – Bentley University sophomore Alex Arnold (Saco, Maine/Thornton Academy) made a strong showing for the Falcon men's indoor track and field team during the David Hemery Valentine's Invitational at Boston University Saturday while competing in two sprints and the long jump.

Arnold was eighth of 76 in the 60 meter dash (7.14) and 84th of 200 in the 200 (22.72) while turning in a new personal best in both events. Both times now rank him eighth on Bentley's all-time list as he improved on his PR in the 60 by 0.03 seconds and his best in the 200 by 0.15 seconds.

The Falcons set at least a half-dozen other new PRs during the meet, including junior Ryan Kenney (Henrietta, N.Y./Rush-Henrietta Sperry HS) and freshman Robert Moritz (Singapore) in the 200. Kenney's 22.95, an improvement of 0.45, moved him to 14th in program history and Moritz' 22.01 put him at 15th. He improved on his PR by 0.58 seconds.
