BOSTON, Mass. – Top-three finishes by senior Beau Kraft (Blue Point, N.Y./Bayport Blue Point HS), classmate Seamus Higgins (Randolph, N.J./Randolph HS) and freshman Robert Moritz (Singapore/ Singapore American School) topped the list of performances for the Bentley University men's indoor track and field team during the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational at Harvard University Sunday.

Kraft threw the shot put 45 feet, 5 inches to place second among 15 throwers and move to number seven on the season's Northeast-10 Conference performance list. He improved on his personal best by 6.75 inches while trailing only Timothy Wunderlich of the Shore Athletic Club (46'11.5").

Higgins was the runner-up in the open mile with his 4:24.37 improving on his PR by 1.03 seconds. Fifty-one runners competed in the event with only Chris Brown (Battle Run Track Club, 4:22.16) finishing ahead of Higgins.

Moritz was third among 52 runners in the 300 meters with his 36.42 clocking third best in Bentley program history. The Falcons had six of the top 12 in the event with Moritz followed by sophomore Alex Arnold (Saco, Maine/Thornton Academy) (5th, 37.32), sophomore Tristan Leachman (Falmouth/Falmouth HS) (8th, 37.70), junior Ryan Kenney (Henrietta, N.Y./Rush-Henrietta Snoperry HS) (9th, 37.72), grad student David Stoffel (Luxembourg) (11th, 37.83) and sophomore Josh Gettings (Lowell/Lowell HS) (12th, 37.85).

Arnold was also seventh of 31 in the long jump (20'3.5") and ninth of 85 in the 60 (7.17, a PR by 0.06 seconds).

Junior Dan Hergott (Wethersfield, Conn./Xavier HS) was fifth of 51 in the mile with his 4:27.83 bettering his previous best by about 2.4 seconds. Another fifth was achieved by senior Nick Skarin (Sunapee, N.H./Sunapee HS) with a 1:25.33 in the 600 meters.

Freshman Declan O'Brien (Norwood/Norwood HS) and senior Dillon Sylvester (Franklin, N.H./ Franklin HS) were seventh and eighth, respectively, in the 60 hurdles. O'Brien posted a 9.36 in the finals and Sylvester turned in a 9.46.

Eighth-place finishes were also registered by sophomores Ben Edwards (Morristown, N.J./ Morristown HS) in the 3000 (9:14.18) and Michael Cannata (Orange, Conn./Amity Regional HS).

Next up for the Falcons is the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University Saturday.
