Bentley Track Places 3 on Academic All-Northeast-10 Team

Three members of the Bentley University men’s and women’s outdoor track and field teams have been selected for Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference honors. They are a pair of CoSIDA Academic All-Americas, Erik Alatalo (Wilmington/Wilmington HS) and Paul Bolick (Hopkinton/ Hopkinton HS), and rising junior Stephanie Mattson (Smithfield, R.I./Smithfield HS).

For the 17th straight semester, Bentley University had the most selections for the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll with 376 Falcon student-athletes recognized for having a 3.0 or better during the spring 2017 semester.

Sihvonen Named Northeast-10 Field Athlete of the Year

Bentley University javelin specialist Holt Sihvonen (Lebanon, Conn./Lyman Memorial HS), who recently finished his junior year, has been selected as the Men’s Field Athlete of the Year in the Northeast-10 Conference by conference’s men’s track and field coaches. The conference announced its 2017 award winners on Friday.

Joining Mattson on the All-Region list were junior Holt Sihvonen (Lebanon, Conn./Lyman Memorial HS) and seniors Erik Alatalo (Wilmington/Wilmington HS) and Tim Bolick (Hopkinton/ Hopkinton HS).

Mattson, Bolick Achieve All-New England Recognition
