WALTHAM, Mass. – Graduate students Connor Aulson (Groveland, Mass./Pentucket) and Daniel Weitz (Roslyn, N.Y./Roslyn) will be the captains of the Bentley University tennis program for the 2021-22 season.

It will be the second straight year both student-athletes are a team captain, after they were captains of the 2021 team along with Mauricio Fadul.

Both Aulson and Weitz have had decorated careers during their time at Bentley.

Aulson is a two-time, first team All-NE10 selection and he is a two-time ITA Scholar-Athlete award recipient. He completed his undergraduate degree in accounting and is currently pursuing his Masters degree in accounting.

Weitz is also a two-time All-NE 10 selection and has competed as the team's No. 1 singles player the past two seasons. He completed his undergraduate degree in finance and is currently pursuing his Masters degree in finance.

The two will help lead the team into the 2021-22 season, which gets underway on Saturday when the Falcons compete at the Southern New Hampshire Doubles Invitational. That will be the first of nine competitions for the team this fall.

Also on the schedule are matches against Endicott, Nichols, Post and Eastern Nazarene. The team will compete at the ITA East Regionals from Sept. 17-19, and will also feature in tournaments hosted by Bryant and Merrimack.
