Bentley Tops Eastern Nazarene for Second Straight Win

Waltham, Mass. – Bentley won for the second time in as many days on Friday with a 6-3 victory over Eastern Nazarene.

The Falcons overcame a 2-1 deficit from doubles with a strong showing in singles, winning five of the six matches.

Bentley's point in doubles came from the team of Alexander Novins (Wellesley, Mass./Wellesley) and Mauricio Fadul (Key Biscayne, Fla./Asuncion) in the No. 3 match, 8-2 over Santiago Camero and Alberta Escobar.

In singles, freshman Daniel Wietz (Roslyn, N.Y./Roslyn) cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win in the No. 2 match, while senior Michael Fuca (Mahwah, N.J./Mahwah) picked up a 6-3, 6-3 victory in No. 3. Fadul claimed his second win of the day in the No. 6 match, defeating Tim Schoengens in three sets, 6-2, 3-6, 10-5.

Bentley improved to 2-0 in the fall season with today's win, and they'll close out the fall portion of their schedule next Thursday at Bryant.
