WALTHAM, Mass. - Bentley freshman Michael Fuca (Manchester, Mass./Manchester-Essex) has been named the Northeast-10 Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday. It's the 2^nd time this season he's earned the award.

Fuca went a perfect 6-0 over three matches for Bentley last week, all wins, as the team will enter the Northeast-10 Championship on a four match winning streak. The Falcons swept NE-10 rivals Saint Anselm and AIC last week while they also beat Post 6-3 in a non-conference match.

In the match with Saint Anselm, Fuca took wins in both No. 2 singles and doubles. In the matches with Post and AIC, he was victorious in No. 3 doubles and No. 5 singles. In his win against AIC in singles he didn't drop a game 6-0, 6-0.

Fuca finished the regular season 8-1 in NE-10 singles matches and 7-1 in such doubles matches.

Bentley will get the postseason underway on Wednesday when they host Le Moyne in the NE-10 Quarterfinals.
