Men's Tennis Defeats Endicott 9-0 for 4th Straight Win

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley men's tennis team won for the fourth straight time on Thursday, defeating Endicott College 9-0 in a non-conference matchup at the Bentley tennis courts.

The team of Kamil Pilch (Wroclaw, Poland/IMG Pendleton) and Alex DeMuth (Shaker Heights, Ohio/University School) paced Bentley in doubles, as they won the No. 1 match 8-4 over Endicott's Evan Ross and Michael Dolph. Senior Jimmy Rindo (Lowell, Mass./Lowell) and Sam Frye (Redlands, Calif./Redlands)  picked up an 8-3 victory over Tim Forance and Eric Gandrup in the No. 2 match. And in the No. 3 match, it was Peter Koopman (Whitinsville, Mass./Whitinsville Christian) and Jerry Liang (Shanghai, China/Shanghai American) defeating Sean McAndrews and Justin Warshavsky 8-1.

In singles, Rindo led the charge by blanking Ross in the No. 1 match 6-0, 6-0. Senior Andrew Waddington (Granby, Conn./Granby Memorial) was a 7-5, 6-0 winner over Forance in the No. 2 match. Other highlights in singles saw freshman Chase Rosa (Hampton, N.H/Berwick Academy) win his fourth straight singles match, 6-4, 6-2 over Dolph in the No. 3 match.

With the win, the Falcons improve to 8-5 on the season. They'll go for their fifth straight win on Sunday against Merrimack.
