PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Bentley University junior Jimmy Rindo (Lowell, Mass./Lowell) is into the semifinals of the B singles tournament at the ITA Men's Tennis East Regional by winning two matches on Sunday. He'll go for the tournament title Monday.

Rindo knocked off Chris Toegemann of Merrimack 8-2 in the round of 16, then topped Boris Tiberkow of Adelphi 8-2 in the quarters. He'll face Steven Galerkin of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in the semis.

Junior Andrew Waddington (Granby, Conn./Granby Memorial), who had advanced to the round of 16 as well, fell to Jordan Sadowitz of Roger Williams 9-8 (7-4).

In the B doubles tournament, senior Rodrigo Ribeiro (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Chapel School) and sophomore Raghav Tanna (Burlington, Mass./Burlington) fell in the quarters to Toegemann and Mark Mallory of Merrimack 8-6.
