Joe Frantel is in his 12th year as assistant swim coach at Bentley. During his tenure, he has helped guide the men's team to the three Northeast-10 Championships and six second-place finishes, and the women's team to four second-place showings in the conference championships.

Frantel graduated from Bentley in 2012, where he was a four-year member of the men's swim team. As a sophomore in 2010, he swam on the Northeast-10 championship squad, the first in program history. As a senior in 2012, he was captain of the NEISDA title-winning team. He was a member of five record-setting relay squads.

A native of Canandaigua, N.Y., Frantel now resides in East Boston.
