WALTHAM, Mass. – Sophomore Paul Homorodean (Milford, Conn./Joseph A. Moran HS) and junior Caroline Logozzo (Wethersfield, Conn./Wethersfield HS) were among the Bentley University swimmers and divers who were recognized this week by the Northeast-10 Conference for their performance.

Homorodean was named the NE10 Men's Swimmer of the Week and Logozzo collected another NE10 Women's Diver of the Week award, her fourth of her career.

In a victory over Le Moyne that stretched Bentley's dual win streak to 25, Homorodean won both of his individual races with his time of 1:00.83 in the 100 yard breaststroke second best in the NE10 this season and his 52.94 in the 100 butterfly fourth best in the conference to date. He also participated on Bentley's two winning relays with times of 1:39.19 in the 200 medley relay and 1:27.67 in the 200 free relay.

Homorodean was also part of the Bentley foursome that earned NE10 Men's Relay Team of the Week accolades after the Falcons completed its win over Le Moyne by capturing the 200 free relay in 1:27.67. He swam the opening leg and was followed by junior Alper Alkaya (Milan, Italy), freshman Mark Zoda (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS) and senior Ryan McGeary (Paramus, N.J./Bergen Catholic HS).

Logozzo swept the two one-meter diving competitions against Le Moyne with scores of 175.42 and 234.08.

The NE10 Weekly Honor Roll included senior Brooke Jameson (Bedford/Bedford HS), junior Paige MacNeil (Branford, Conn./Branford HS) and freshman Jeremy Glick (South Windsor, Conn./ South Windsor HS).

Bentley's win over Le Moyne featured a strong showing by Jameson, who posted wins in the 200 freestyle (2:01.09) and the 500 free (5:24.06), with her time in the latter good for third on the season's NE10 performance list. She also swam a leg on a 200 free relay team.

Against Le Moyne, MacNeil swept the two backstroke events with her time in the 100 (1:01.31) putting her third on the NE10 list for the season and her 2:13.00 in the 200 fourth best in the conference to date. She also finished second in the 100 butterfly (1:01.36) and was part of the Falcons' 200 medley relay team (1:54.61).

Glick had a combined score of 337.51 in the two one-meter diving competitions as he placed first in one and second in the other.

The next action for the Falcons is Sunday in Troy, N.Y. when the Falcons take on The College of Saint Rose at RPI.
