WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University seniors Jonny Boains (Unionville, Conn./Farmington HS) and Juan Quiroga (Bogota, Colombia) have been selected as the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Swimmer and Men's Diver of the Week, respectively, following their outstanding performances last week.

In addition, junior Melissa Viator (Lubbock, Texas/Lubbock HS) was recognized as CollegeSwimming.com's Northeast-10 Women's Swimmer of the Week.

In three dual meets, all Bentley wins, Boains won five of seven individual events and helped the Falcons capture four of the five relays he swam. His top times were 1:48.71 in the 200 yard freestyle (5th best NE10 for the week), 49.28 in the 100 free (3rd best NE10), 56.90 in the 100 individual medley, 24.89 in the 50 butterfly and 54.65 in the 100 fly. Against St. Michael's, he entered the pool four times and emerged with four wins (50 breast, 50 fly, 2 relays)

Quiroga was undefeated during the week, sweeping the one-meter and three-meter diving events in all three dual meets. His one-meter scorers were 217.28, 230.33 and 211.35 and he turned in scores of 180.30, 187.20 and 199.80 from the three-meter.

Viator turned in the conference's fastest swims of the week in the three longest races with times of 5:17.96 in the 500 free against Pace, 10:54.68 in the 1,000 against the Setters and 18:25.76 in the 1650 against Keene State. She won five of eight individual races and also helped Bentley relay teams to a first against St. Michael's and a second against Pace.

Bentley was also well-represented on the conference's Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll, which included Viator, sophomore Paige MacNeil (Branford, Conn./Branford HS), junior Kate Kaduboski (Dedham/Dedham HS) and junior Ryan McGeary (Paramus, N.J./Bergen Catholic HS) included.

MacNeil won seven of eight individual events with her times in the 200 free (1:58.85 vs. Pace) and the 100 fly (1:00.95 vs. Pace) NE10 bests for the week. She had three individual wins against both the Setters and Keene State, and also helped Bentley win one of the four relays she swam with the Falcons finishing second in the other three. Other times the Wagner transfer posted during the week included 55.47 in the 100 free, 1:00.99 in the 100 back, 2:13.07 in the 200 back and 2:20.13 in the 200 fly.

Kaduboski swam to victory in five of seven individual races and helped the Falcons take first in three of four relays. She posted the conference's best times of the week in the 200 individual medley (2:12.10 vs. Pace) and the 400 IM (4:40.19 vs. Keene State) as well as the second best in the 200 back (2:10.59).

McGeary won four of five individual races and four of five relays during the week. He was perfect against Keene State with wins in the 1650 free (17:18.11) and 200 breast (2:17.24) as well as two relays. He posted the conference's 2nd best 200 breast time of the week (2:16.78) and his other times included 1:50.12 in the 100 free.
