WALTHAM, Mass. – Thirteen members of the Bentley University men's and women's swimming and diving teams were recognized by the Northeast-10 Conference this week for their efforts in a dual meet against Norwich University, including junior Melissa Viator (Lubbock, Texas/Lubbock HS), the NE10 Women's Swimmer of the Week.

Senior Juan Quiroga (Bogota, Colombia) was selected as the NE10 Men's Diver of the Week and freshman Paul Homorodean (Milford, Conn./Joseph A. Foran HS) collected his second NE10 Men's Rookie of the Year award.

Bentley swept the Relay of the Week awards with Homorodean, senior Christopher Vukas (Randolph, N.J./Randolph HS), junior Ryan McGeary (Paramus, N.J./Bergen Catholic HS) and sophomore Sam Trozenski (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon HS) recognized for their 1:43.54 in the men's 200 medley relay and the Falcon women also taking the same event in 1:58.64. Sophomore Paige MacNeil (Branford, Conn./Branford HS) was followed into the pool by classmate Ari Revelas (Snyder, N.Y./Nardin Academy), freshman Kayla Metivier (Kingston/Sanborn Regional HS) and senior Jess Chen (Darien, Conn./ Darien HS).

MacNeil was also named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll as were senior Jonny Boains (Unionville, Conn./Farmington HS), junior Kate Kaduboski (Dedham/Dedham HS) and sophomore Caroline Logozzo (Wethersfield, Conn./Wethersfield HS).

In a win over Norwich, Viator turned in winning swims in the 50 yard breaststroke (34.26) and the 400 individual medley (4:50.44). She was also second in the 100 freestyle (56.50) and a member of a 200 medley relay that finished third (2:03.93).

Quiroga took first from the one-meter board with his score of 226.80 a career best. He was also second in the three-meter diving (179.10).

Homorodean was a double-winner, capturing the 100 butterfly in 56.48 seconds and the 100 breaststroke in 1:05.64. He was third in the 200 freestyle (1:55.67) and a member of the Falcons' winning 200 medley relay.

MacNeil posted wins in both the 50 backstroke (28:19) and the 50 butterfly (27:49). She also helped the Falcons capture the 200 medley relay and was part of a 200 free relay team that finished second (1:48.37).

Kaduboski finished first in the 1000 freestyle (10:57.65) and the 100 free (55.67). She also swam a leg on a 200 free relay team that was second in 1:48.37.

Logozzo swept the women's diving events with scores of 222.15 from the one-meter board and 196.45 from the three-meter.

Boains won his three individual races with times of 27.56 seconds in the 50 backstroke, 22.81 in the 50 freestyle and 4:28.47 in the 400 individual medley. He also swam a leg on a 200 medley relay team that was fourth in 1:48.14.
