Bridge Breaks Own School Record as Bentley Bests Babson, 150-81

BABSON PARK, Mass. – Bentley University senior Colton Bridge (Tolland, Conn./Tolland HS) captured both diving events, including a school record-breaking performance off the three-meter board, as the Falcons defeated Babson College 150-81 in men's college swimming Tuesday night at the Babson pool.

After taking first in the one-meter event with a 292.05, Bridge put up a 318.30 from the three-meter board. That bettered the mark of 305.40 he set just last week against St. Michael's.

The Falcons' other individual winners were sophomore Aidan Karam (Norwich, Conn./Norwich Free Academy) in the 200 yard freestyle (1:47.73), freshman Frank Elenio (Ridgefield, N.J./Bergen County Academies) in the 100 butterfly (54.86) and a pair of seniors, Timothy Connolly (Dorchester/Boston Latin Academy) in the 100 backstroke (55.57) and Sebastian Bury (Bellevue, Wash./Newport Senior HS) in the 100 free (49.46).

Karam (500 free), Elenio (200 individual medley) and Bury (50 free) also turned in a second-place finish.

Connolly was also part of Bentley's winning 200 free relay team, combining with sophomore Christopher Vukas (Randolph, N.J./Randolph HS), junior Davis Wilson (Ransom Canyon, Texas/ Lubbock HS) and senior Nick Toselli (Barrington, R.I./ Barrington HS) for a 1:28.78.

Bentley reached .500 with the win, at 5-5, and will wrap up its dual slate next Tuesday at Bridgewater State.
