Three members of the Bentley University swimming and diving teams were recently named to the Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference team. They are senior Paige Wilde (Naugatuck, Conn./Holy Cross HS) and sophomores Kaitlin McGahie (Boylston/Tahanto Reg. HS) and Liam Bartlett (Syracuse, N.Y./William Nottingham HS).

Bentley University senior Connor Mulvey-Hudson (Ardmore, Pa./St. Joseph’s Prep) swam to victory in the 100 yard breaststroke Saturday night for the Falcons’ first gold medal of the 2015 Northeast-10 Conference Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships at Southern Connecticut State’s Hutchinson Natatorium.

Juniors Owen Karl (Rochester, N.Y./Brighton HS) and Sebastian Bury (Bellevue, Wash./Newport HS) each broke a school record Friday night while helping the Bentley University Falcons finish day two of the 2015 Northeast-10 Conference Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships in second place. The meet runs through Sunday at Southern Connecticut State’s Hutchinson Natatorium.

It was a strong opening day for the Bentley University men’s swimming and diving team during the opening day of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships Thursday night as three trips to the medal stand and one school record put the Falcons at the top of the team leaderboard.

Current members of the Bentley University swimming and diving teams own a total of 24 individual medals from previous Northeast-10 Conference championships. They’ll be looking to build on that total over the coming days when the 2015 championships are contested at Southern Connecticut State University’s Hutchinson Natatorium Thursday through Sunday.
Karl & Liulakis Win Twice as Bentley Sweeps Bridgewater State, 168-105

Juniors Owen Karl (Rochester, N.Y./Brighton HS) and Alex Liulakis (Tenafly, N.J./Tenafly HS) each won two events to help the Bentley University Falcons register a 168-105 win over Bridgewater State University in men’s college swimming at the Dana Center pool Thursday night.
Bentley Quartet Earns NE-10 Relay Team of the Week Accolades

Recognized by the conference as the NE-10 Men’s Relay Team of the Week, was the Bentley quartet of Sebastian Bury (Bellevue, Wash./Newport Senior HS), Tim Connolly (Dorchester/Boston Latin Acad.), Davis Wilson (Ransom Canyon, Texas/Lubbock HS) and Liam Bartlett (Syracuse, N.Y./William Nottingham HS). Bury and Connolly, both juniors, combined with the two sophomores for a winning time of 1:29.06 in the 200 yard freestyle to finish a 140-99 victory over Babson. This is the fifth time this year that the Bentley men have earned the honor.

Junior Sebastian Budy (Bellevue, Wash./Newport Senior HS) finished first in two freestyle races and was also part of the Falcons’ winning 200 yard free relay team as Bentley University posted a 140-99 win over Babson College in men’s college swimming Tuesday night at the Dana Center.

Bentley University junior Colton Bridge (Tolland, Conn./Tolland HS) prevailed in both diving events, but it wasn’t enough as undefeated Keene State College put away the Falcons, 208-90, in men’s college swimming Sunday afternoon at the Dana Center.
Bentley Returns from Break to Swim Past St. Michael’s

Recording a half-dozen 1-2-3 finishes and capturing 12 of 16 events overall, the Bentley University men’s swimming and diving team cruised to a 149.5-130.5 victory over St. Michael’s College Wednesday afternoon at the Ross Sports Center. The win in the team’s first meet in a month extended the dual winning streak of the 5-3 Falcons to four.
