Rindge, N.H. – Two second half goals by Franklin Pierce broke saw the host Ravens emerge with a 2-0 victory over the Bentley men's soccer team in Northeast-10 action on Saturday night.
The teams had been locked in a scoreless draw for the first 60-plus minutes, until a goal by FPU's Noam Kolakofsky in the 63rd minute broke the game open. Kolakofsky added a second on the night with just 20 seconds remaining to seal it.
Falcons keeper David Price (Needham, Mass./Beaver Country) made six saves on the night, with three in each half. Freshman Ronan Fitzpatrick (Coventry, Conn./East Catholic) led the team in shots on goal.
Bentley, now 2-4-1 in the NE10 after its only game this week, will be back on the field on Wednesday night when they visit Stonehill.
