Waltham, Mass. – Both the Bentley University women's and men's soccer teams have been recognized for their academic achievements during the 2017-18 year, as both squads earned the Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches.

Bentley was one of just 191 schools across all three NCAA Divisions to have both of its women's and men's programs earn the Team Academic Award, which is granted to teams that have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Both teams made the Northeast-10 playoffs last season and are off to strong starts this season, with each claiming a win over a top-10 ranked opponent, the women over No. 9 Franklin Pierce and the men over No. 6 Merrimack.

Both squads are on the road this weekend, with the women visiting Saint Rose at 2:00 pm and the men playing at Franklin Pierce at 7:00 pm.
