Price, Williams to Serve as Bentley Men’s Soccer Captains

WALTHAM, Mass. – The 2018 Bentley men's soccer team will be captained by senior goalkeeper David Price (Needham, Mass./Beaver Country) and senior defender Kevin Williams (Wilmington, Delaware/Salesianum School) as the Falcons prepare to kick off their season.

Price was instrumental in Bentley's run to the NE10 championship game last season and was named to the All-Tournament team for his performances in the three games. He made seven saves in the 2-1 quarterfinal win over top seed Adelphi which started the run, and was especially good in the finals against Merrimack with 10 saves. Overall last season he recorded a 1.07 GAA and 49 total saves.

Williams played in nine games last season and was a key figure down the stretch during the team's playoff run as he featured in the final four games and helped shore up defensively. He showed a goal scoring touch as a sophomore in 2016, with three goals.

"Both David and Kevin will be key to our team and their job will be to help bring our 11 new players along and show them the ropes," said head coach Gary Crompton. "The coaching staff will rely on the captains and other leaders in the team to help our younger players and teach them the way we do things and how we conduct ourselves on and off the field."

The Falcons get their 2018 season started with two games at the Merrimack Kickoff Classic; August 31st vs. Molloy and September 2 vs. Caldwell.
