Rapant Named Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University's Harrison Rapant (Pittsfield, Mass./Pittsfield) has been named the Northeast-10 Men's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Rapant had two strong performances as the Falcons had a 2-0 week with wins over Stonehill on Oct. 10 and New Haven on Oct. 13.

In the 2-1 victory over the Skyhawks he made six saves, with five in the second half. Rapant followed that up with four saves in a 3-0 shutout of the Chargers.

Combined, he made 10 saves for a .909 save percentage and 0.50 goals against average. It's the second time in his career Rapant has been named Goalkeeper of the Week. He earned the award on Oct. 3 of last season.

Rapant and the Falcons will go for three straight wins on Wednesday night when they visit Southern New Hampshire, in a game that will be televised on Fox College Sports at 7:00 pm
