COLCHESTER, Vt. – Senior midfielder Adrian Diaz and sophomore midfielder Jacob von Giebel each scored twice to help Saint Michael's to a 5-0 victory over visiting Bentley on Saturday afternoon in a Northeast-10 match.
The Purple Knights led 1-0 at halftime on a goal by von Giebel in the 22nd after he headed in a cross from senior Jackson Steele.
Von Giebel then added a second goal in the 51st minute to put the hosts up 2-0.
Diaz then scored two goals in a row, both on free kicks, in the 63rd and 73rd minutes to put the Knights ahead 4-0.
Bentley's next game is on Saturday at home to Franklin Pierce for a 3:00 pm kickoff.
