WALTHAM, Mass. – With Bentley trailing American International 2-1 with under 16 minutes remaining, sophomore forward Scott Levy (Canton, Mass./Canton) struck for two goals about five minutes apart to help the men's soccer team rally for a 3-2 victory Saturday afternoon in a Northeast-10 match.

The scoring combo of Levy and sophomore Marty Ryan (Albany, N.Y./Albany) had combined for three goals in the last four matches, and the pair linked up again on Levy's two goals to put Bentley in front. Both of the goals were similar, with Ryan playing a through ball to Levy, Levy darting down the right wing and slotting home his shot into the lower left corner of the net from the right corner of the penalty area.

His first goal tied the match at two in the 75^th minute, and his second in the 80^th minute gave Bentley a 3-2 lead which they did not relinquish. Levy now has eight goals on the season, and Ryan eight assists after assisting on all three Falcon goals.

Bentley struck first early on in the third minute for a 1-0 lead, with senior co-captain Justin Cirasola (Oceanside, N.Y./Oceanside) scoring his second goal of the campaign with Ryan providing the assist.

Ryan made a run down the right wing, and once he was deep inside the offensive end of the pitch, sent a cross into the six-yard box that Cirasola met and smashed past AIC keeper Jason Ryan for the goal.

But the lead was relatively short-lived as AIC found the equalizer courtesy of sophomore Kyle Kazukynas in the 28^th minute, his first goal of the year. The play started with a blistering long range shot from sophomore Ed Sharman that hit the crossbar and almost bounced in on the way down. However, Kazukynas was in position for an easy tap-in goal to level the score.

The Yellow Jackets went ahead 2-1 in the 59^th minute on Sharman's ninth goal of the year, scoring with a 10 yard shot from the right corner of the penalty area.

The win improves Bentley's record to 6-3 in Northeast-10 play and 7-4 overall, and they've now won six of seven matches. The Yellow Jackets drop to 2-5-1 in NE-10 matches and 4-6-1 overall.

The Falcons will now take a brief step outside the NE-10, when they welcome in Post for a non-conference match on Wednesday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 3:30 pm.
