Bentley Players Shine at World Junior Lacrosse Championships

WALTHAM, Mass. – The three Bentley men's lacrosse players that represented the United States last weekend at the World Junior Lacrosse Championships in Saskatchewan, Canada, sophomores Kris Campbell (Longmeadow, Mass./Longmeadow) and Cam Egan (Waltham, Mass,/Waltham) and junior Michael Fricke (Highlands Ranch, Colo./Valor) all had a successful tournament.

The US played against Canada and Iroquois in the two game tournament.

Fricke was named the 2nd Star in the first US game against Iroquois with two goals and two assists. Egan, a defender, was the 2nd Star in the game against Canada with two assists. Fricke also had two goals and one assist in that game, and ended the tournament as the US leading scorer with four goals and three assists.

Campbell, an attacker who was named to the NE10 All-Rookie team this past season, had one goal and one assist in the two games.
