This year's World Championships will include 46 countries, the largest-ever in the tournament's history, and will be the first time the event is held in a non-English speaking country.

Adler graduated from Bentley as one of the program's most decorated players. A face-off specialist, he was twice named a USILA All-American, second team as a senior and third team as a junior. Adler is currently in his second season with the Denver Outlaws after being selected 61st overall in the seventh round of the 2017 MLL Collegiate Draft. In his first professional season, he appeared in three games, scored one goal, scooped 19 ground balls and won 55.4 percent of his face-offs.
