2016: Garnered a litany of recognitions, led by a USILA/Nike 3rd All-America selection … also named 1st team All-New England, 1st team All-Northeast-10 and Northeast-10 All-Academic … finished 3rd in the nation in face-off winning percentage (.728) and 4th in ground balls per game (9.15) … had a career high 19 ground balls and went 22-26 in face-offs at Southern N.H. (March 30) … scooped up 18 ground balls and went 23-25 in face-offs vs. Pace (April 20) … scored a goal and had one assist in 12-10 win at Catawba (March 15).
2015: Named to the All-New England team by the NEILA … had the 6th best face-off winning percentage in Division II at .660 (124-188) … scooped up a team best 57 ground balls … season high nine ground balls and went 14-19 in face-offs in win over St. Anselm March 24 … 15-17 face-off wins vs. Southern N.H. April 7.
2014: Played in seven games … went 5-7 in the face-off circle … made collegiate debut in season-opener at Dowling March 8.
Before Bentley: 2013 graduate of Northfield Mount Hermon … played in the 2013 New England East-West Senior All-Star game ... named Athlete of the Year at NMH as a sophomore ... also excelled in wrestling as he earned three All New England honors and qualified for the Prep Nationals three times.
Personal: Majoring in corporate finance and accounting … age as of March 1: 22 … son of Matt and Dana Adler … has one sibling, Michael (20), who plays lacrosse at St. Joseph's University ... cousin Rene Adler plays goalie for German Bundesliga club Hamburger SV and has played for the German senior national team.
