Adler Garners All-New England Team Selection

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University's Max Adler (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./Northfield Mount Hermon) has garnered first team All-New England honors, it was announced Tuesday by the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.

Adler, a face-off specialist, was previously named first team All-Northeast-10 on May 4. It's also the second season in a row he has been voted All-New England.

Adler dominated inside the face-off circle for the Falcons this season. Counting games played through May 8, he's ranked 3rd in Division II in face-off winning percentage at 72.8%. He won 195 out of 268 draws he took during the season.

Furthermore, Adler is 4th nationally in ground balls per game at 9.15. He scooped up a total of 119 in 13 games played. He had two notable games this season in that regard; 19 ground balls with 22-26 face-offs won at Southern N.H. March 30, and 18 ground balls with 23-25 face-offs won vs. Pace on April 20.

Adler also had three other games with at least 10 ground balls, including 10 at Adelphi April 16 and 11 at home vs. Merrimack April 23.
