Demoulas Lands on NEILA Academic All-New England Team

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University's T.A. Demoulas (Lowell, Mass./Middlesex School) of the men's lacrosse team has been named to the NEILA's Academic All-New England team.

To be eligible for the Academic All-New England team, a student-athlete must have been in his final year of eligibility, have posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the year and be nominated for either All-Conference or All-Region for his play on the field.

Demoulas, who was one of just nine Division II student-athletes to receive this recognition, picks up his third honor of the postseason. He was previously named first team All-New England by the NEILA on May 6 as a defensive midfielder, and second team All-Northeast-10 as a specialist on April 29.

A finance major, he started all 13 games for the Falcons as a senior and led the team with 13 caused turnovers and was second in ground balls (32). He played in all 54 games Bentley played in during his four year career and started all but three. He served as a co-captain for the second straight season, and was drafted by the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse during the league's collegiate draft in January.
