WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University's Mike O'Neil (Marblehead, Mass./Marblehead) has been named the Northeast-10 men's lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week, the conference revealed Monday. It's the first time in his career he's won the award.

The senior helped Bentley earn a pair of conference road wins last week, 8-4 against Assumption on Wednesday and 14-4 over Franklin Pierce on Sunday, making 15 saves and allowing just four goals in each game. For the week, his goals against average was 4.00 and his save percentage .789.

O'Neil has started all five games for Bentley thus far in his first season as the number one goalie. Overall, he's 2-3 with a 7.19 GAA and a .641 save percentage.

The Falcons, currently 2-1 in the NE-10, will go for their third straight win tomorrow night at home against Saint Anselm.
