Bentley Ranked 10th in USILA Preseason Poll
WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University is ranked 10th in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's Preseason Division II Coaches Poll, it was announced earlier Monday.
The Falcons finished in the top-10 of last season's final USILA poll after going 9-5 overall and 7-3 in the Northeast-10. They've already been ranked eighth by Inside Lacrosse and ninth by Lacrosse Magazine in their respective preseason Division II polls. The NE-10 coaches predicted a fourth place finish for Bentley in the conference's preseason coaches poll released last week.
Bentley has six of the poll's top-eight teams on its schedule this season. The first three games are at home against No. 1 C.W. Post March 12, No. 5 New York Tech March 23 and No. 8 Adelphi March 26. They're at No. 6 Dowling April 10, No. 7 Merrimack April 19 and No. 2 Le Moyne April 23.
The other schools in the poll are Mercyhurst (No.3), Limestone (No. 4), Mars Hill (No. 9), Queens (No. 11) and Saint Leo (No. 12).
