Bentley Places 26 Student-Athletes on Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team; Kirk Named a Student-Athlete of the Year
WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley University hockey team had 26 of its student-athletes earn a place on the 2021-22 Atlantic Hockey All-Academic team. Additionally, goaltender Fraser Kirk was named one of 10 Student-Athletes of the Year in the conference.
Bentley's 26 honorees are tied for second most in the conference. A student-athlete must have a GPA of 3.0 or better in both the fall and spring semesters to be eligible.
Atlantic Hockey recognizes Student-Athletes of the Year who posted a 4.0 GPA for the academic year.
Kirk was a senior this past season and majored in both economics-finance and health and industry. His selection to the All-Academic team was his fourth in as many years.
Brendan Hamblet, a graduate student last year, earned his fifth straight All-Academic team selection.
Defensemen Ethan Roswell and Luke Orysiuk, both seniors in 21-22, earned their fourth straight selections.
