Bentley Back on Home Ice This Weekend to Host Robert Morris
The Matchup: The Falcons are back at Bentley Arena this weekend to take on Robert Morris. Friday's game is a 7:05 start and Saturday's game time was moved up to 5:05.
The Falcons are coming off a trip to Colorado against Air Force, while Robert Morris had a home and home with Canisius last weekend. This will be the second series of the season between the two teams, after they played out in Pittsburgh on opening weekend.

Last Time Out: Bentley dropped a pair of hard fought games at Air Force last weekend. In both games Bentley rallied to tie from 2-0 down, but each time Air Force pulled out the win. On Friday Air Force led 2-0 after two periods, but Bentley scored twice in the first 2:09 of the 3rd period to tie the game. The goals came from Will Garin and Michael Zuffante. Air Force though got the go-ahead goal from Willie Reim at 6:08, and an empty net goal from Brady Tomlak with nine seconds remaining for the 4-2 score.
On Saturday, freshman goalie Jason Grande made his first career start and made 22 saves in a game that Bentley had a 35-25 advantage in shots. Air Force led 2-0 in the 2nd period, but two goals by Bentley in the middle of the period tied the game. Freshman Matt Gosiewski netted his 2nd goal of the season at 10:34, followed by sophomore Jakov Novak scoring a shorthanded goal at 15:35 to tie the game 2-2. Air Force though got a power play goal from Kieran Durgan at 2:36 of the 3rd period which was the difference.
Tied at the Top: Novak is tied for the Atlantic Hockey lead in goals with six, and he is tied for 4th in points (10). Jonathan Desbiens is tied for 3rd in assists (7) and tied for 10th in points (8).
Familiar Foes: These two teams have seen quite a lot of each other over the last four seasons. They have played in three of the last four playoffs and have played a total of 23 games since the start of the 2015-16 season.
RMU has a slight edge at 12-9-2, despite 16 of the 23 games being played in Pittsburgh.
