Last Time Out: Bentley had a pair of eventful games against Mercyhurst at the Arena last weekend. A 4-3 defeat in overtime was followed up with a 6-3 victory. In the win on Saturday, they led 3-0 after the first period and 4-0 in the 2nd period after a goal by Ryner Gorowsky at 5:42.

The six goals were all scored by different players and four of them came on the power play, from Will Garin, Jakov Novak, Jonathan Desbiens and Connor Brassard. Desbiens had a game high three points, with two assists to go along with his goal, and freshman Matt Gosiewski had two assists as well.

More From Last Weekend: Sophomore goalie Fraser Kirk made his first career start on Saturday night, and earned the win with a 22 save effort. The Burlington, Ontario native did not allow a goal until past the under-five minute mark of the 2nd period.

Freshman Joe Winkelmann scored his first career goal in Friday's game, a goal that was USCHO's No. 4 Play of the Week. https://www.uscho.com/2019/11/04/uscho-com-presents-its-ncaa-division-i-plays-of-the-week-oct-31-nov-3/

Tied at the Top: Bentley's Jakov Novak is one of six skaters tied for the AHA lead in goals thus far with five. Novak is T-5th in the AHA with 8 points. He has at least one point in five of seven games this season.

Jonathan Desbiens is T-8th in points with seven and he is T-4th in assists with six.

Connor Brassard is T-5th in points among defensemen with four, and Matt Gosiewski is T-3rd in points among freshmen with four.

Trips to Colorado: This will be Bentley's 5th trip out to Colorado since the 2015-16 season, including one postseason meeting. Over the last 12 games played out west going back to 2011-12, Bentley has picked up four wins and two ties.

The teams met four times last season, and each team swept on its home ice. Air Force won at home 4-2 and 4-1 on the weekend of Nov. 9-10 and Bentley returned the favor at the Arena on Feb. 1-2. Bentley won the first game 4-3 in overtime on a goal by junior Brendan Hamblet, then recorded a 4-0 shutout the next night behind four different goal scorers and 20 saves by senior Aidan Pelino.

Up Next: Bentley returns home next weekend for a series against Robert Morris on Nov. 15-16. The Friday game is a 7:05 start and the Saturday game is a 5:05 start.
