Gorowsky and Orr Named Bentley Hockey Captains

Waltham, Mass. – Seniors Ryner Gorowsky (Lino Lakes, Minn.) and Brett Orr (Elkhorn, Manitoba) will both have the C on their jerseys as captains of the Bentley hockey team for the 2019-20 season.

Gorowsky was a captain last season and Orr will be the second straight defenseman to have the C, following Tanner Jago.

Gorowsky has played in 94 games in his three previous seasons and has been on the team's top scorers and penalty killers throughout his career. Last season he scored 7 goals and notched 13 assists in 35 games, and was +10. He will enter 2019-20 with 19 goals and 39 assists in his career so far.

Orr has played in 104 games in three seasons. A two-way defenseman he has 36 assists in his career, and last season he notched eight assists and was +10. He's been in the top three on the team in blocks each season, last season he ranked second with 41 blocks, and will enter his senior year with 129 career blocks.

Both have excelled academically as well at Bentley. Orr was named an AHCA All-American Scholar for 2018-19 and has been named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic team all three seasons. Gorowsky has been named All-Academic twice.

Bentley will get the 2019-20 season started three weeks from Friday when they visit Robert Morris.
