Pelino Earns Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week Award

Waltham, Mass. – Bentley University's Aidan Pelino (Oakville, Ontario) has earned the Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week award after he helped the Falcons sweep Robert Morris this past weekend.

In 5-2 and 5-1 road wins over their conference rivals, Pelino compiled a .938 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average in winning both games, with 45 total saves for both contests.

In Friday's series opener, he had a shutout going until the final four minutes of the 5-2 victory and finished the night with 21 saves. The following night, he allowed just one goal and made 24 stops in the 5-1 win to complete the sweep.

It's the fifth time in his career Pelino has been named Goalie of the Week, after he earned the award twice in each of his freshman and sophomore seasons. He is the third Bentley player this season to earn an Atlantic Hockey weekly award. Freshmen forwards Jakov Novak and Dylan Pitera were named Rookie of the Week on Oct. 30 and Nov. 6, respectively.

The Falcons are back at Bentley Arena this weekend to take on RIT on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:05 pm.
