The Bentley University hockey team is headed back to Fenway Park. For the second time in four seasons the Falcons will take part in Capital One Frozen Fenway, this time against Army West Point. The game will take place on Thursday, January 5 at 7:30 pm. The announcement was made this morning by Fenway Sports Management. The game between the Falcons and Black Knights will get the event started, and will be the first of nine games that will take place at Capital One Frozen Fenway over a 10 day period. "It is exciting for our team, school, and alumni to be part of the rich tradition of Fenway Park again this year," said Bentley head coach Ryan Soderquist. "It will provide another great venue to rally the University and alumni together as we continue to celebrate 100 years of Bentley." The Falcons previously played at Fenway Park during the 2013-14 season, a 3-2 victory over Holy Cross in the first ever game at Fenway between Atlantic Hockey teams. This will be the second straight season Bentley and Army West Point will play at a unique venue. Last season, the two programs squared off at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, a 6-2 win for the Falcons. This season they will take to the ice outdoors at venerable Fenway Park. One night after taking the ice at Fenway, Bentley and Army West Point will conclude their weekend series at Ryan Arena in Watertown on January 6.
