Gladiuk & French Voted Atlantic Hockey All-Conference

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley duo Andrew Gladiuk (White Rock, B.C./Nanaimo) and Max French (West Kelowna, B.C./West Kelowna) have been voted to the Atlantic Hockey All-Conference teams as selected by the league's head coaches. French was named to the first team and Gladiuk the second team.

The pair have both had excellent seasons so far in helping Bentley to the Atlantic Hockey quarterfinals while both surpassing the 40 point mark.

French is currently 3rd in the nation in points per game with a 1.52 average. Overall he's put up 44 points on 21 goals and 23 assists in 29 games, which is the 5th highest points total in a single-season in the program's Division I history. He currently ranks in the top-seven of Atlantic Hockey in goals, assists and points.

Twice named the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week (Nov. 3, Nov. 17) and an NCAA Star of the Week once (Nov. 3), French has 14 multi-point games, including two games with four points; vs. Army West Point (Nov. 1) and vs. AIC (Jan. 22).

Gladiuk earns his third straight All-Conference selection with his recognition on the second team this season. He currently has 42 points on 16 goals and 26 assists, which like French, ranks highly in Atlantic Hockey. He's currently T-5th in points, T-8th in goals and T-2nd in assists.

The left winger had a number of big games this season, including hat tricks at Northeastern (Oct. 16) and vs. AIC (Jan. 22). He earned three Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week awards (Oct. 20, Jan. 26, Feb. 9) and two NCAA Stars of the Week (Oct. 20, Jan. 26).

With 150 career points, Gladiuk is T-2nd among active NCAA players and 2nd in goals among active players (71).

After defeating Sacred Heart in the first round, Bentley is preparing for a trip to top-seed Robert Morris for the best of three quarterfinals. The series gets underway on Friday night.
