Gladiuk Named Atlantic Hockey Player of Week

WALTHAM, Mass. – For the second time in three weeks, Bentley senior Andrew Gladiuk (White Rock, B.C./Nanaimo) has been named the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week. He had two goals and two assists in the Falcons' series at Mercyhurst over the weekend.

Gladiuk had one goal and one assist in each game, including a 3rd period goal in Friday's 4-1 win and a power play goal in Saturday's series finale.

The left winger has been on a tear of late. He has a goal in six straight games and a point in eight straight games. He's up to 15 goals and 19 assists for 34 points in 29 games this season. In Atlantic Hockey that has him 6th in points, 8th in goals and T-6th in assists.

It's the 6th time in his career Gladiuk has been named Atlantic Hockey's Player of the Week and the third time this season; Oct. 20 and Jan. 26 were the other two times this year. Heading into the weekend, the B.C. native is tied for the most career points (142) among active NCAA players and 2nd in goals (70).

The Falcons are back on the ice on Friday night at the JAR to open a weekend series with Canisius.
