Gladiuk Named Candidate for Senior CLASS Award

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley captain Andrew Gladiuk (White Rock, B.C./Nanaimo) was named a candidate for the 2015-16 Senior CLASS Award for college hockey, it was announced Friday.

There were 20 candidates from Division I selected for the college hockey Senior CLASS Award, which awards student-athletes that excel in the areas of community, classroom, character and competition.

Gladiuk has amassed 135 points in his three-plus seasons in a Bentley uniform, ranking 2nd in the program's Division I history. He's also 2nd in goals with 66. While among active NCAA players, he's 2nd in career goals and 3rd in points. Among the on-ice honors he's earned are 2015 first team All-Atlantic Hockey, 2014 third team All-Atlantic Hockey and 2013 Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Year.

The left winger is a corporate finance and accounting major and has been named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic team after each of his three seasons. He's also twice been voted to the Academic All-District 1 At-Large team.

The 20 candidates will be narrowed to 10 finalists in February, and the winner will be announced during the Frozen Four in April.
