Gladiuk Named Atlantic Hockey Player of Week, NCAA 2nd Star

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley left winger Andrew Gladiuk (White Rock, B.C./Nanaimo) was named the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week and the NCAA 2nd Star of the Week, it was announced Tuesday. Gladiuk had four goals and three assists over the weekend as the Falcons took three points from AIC. It's the 5th time in his career he's been named AHC Player of the Week.

It's the 2nd time this season Gladiuk has been named one of the NCAA's Stars of the Week.

In Friday's 6-1 win at the JAR, he netted his 3rd career hat trick and 2nd this season and added two assists for a career-high five point game. He scored three straight times in the 3rd period for a natural hat trick, coming in less than five minutes and helping Bentley pull away for the win. In Saturday's 5-5 tie on the road, he had one goal and one assist.

On the season the B.C. native has an 11-16-27 scoring line in 25 games, putting him T-8th in Atlantic Hockey in points, T-10th in goals and T-9th in assists.

Bentley is back on the ice on Friday night open a series with Sacred Heart at the JAR.
