WATERTOWN, Mass. – Goaltender Jayson Argue (Swan River, Manitoba/Nanaimo) led the way again with 40 more saves, and four different players scored as Bentley completed a sweep of Northeastern with a 4-1 victory at a sold out JAR.

Bentley scored in each period, doing its most damage in the first frame with two goals, and then adding one each in the final two periods.

A night after making 49 saves in leading Bentley to a 3-2 win in the series opener at Matthews Arena, Argue was again stellar. He made 16 saves in each of the first two periods and eight in the final 20 minutes.

The offense was spread around on this night with the four different goal scorers. Defensemen Matt Blomquist (Blaine, Minn./Coulee Region) and Tanner Jago (Brandon, Manitoba/Portage) each had two assists.

Bentley seized a 1-0 lead just 1:13 into the first period on a goal by defenseman Mike Berry (Calgary, Alberta/Sherwood Park), who ripped a slap shot from the blue line.

Bentley then extended its lead 2-0 a little over five minutes later as Blomquist notched the first of two straight assists with a beautiful feed in front to goal scorer Will Suter (Omaha, Neb./Lincoln). Blomquist was in the right face-off circle and spotted Suter open in front, and hit him with a perfect pass before Derick Roy could get across the crease for a 2-0 lead.

The second period mirrored most of Friday night with Andrew Gladiuk (White Rock, B.C./Nanaimo) and Argue starring. Gladiuk scored a 5-on-3 goal while Argue made several highlight worthy saves as the Falcons led 3-0 after two periods.

Kyle Schmidt (Menonomee Falls, Wisc./Sioux City) added a fourth goal just 3:28 into the third period with a nice deke move around a Northeastern defender and a wrist shot past Roy, which spelled the end of his night.

Northeastern finally broke through against Argue and ended his shutout bid with a goal from Nolan Stevens at 7:05, but that all was he allowed.

Bentley evens its record to 2-2 in beating Northeastern for a 4^th straight time in the series.
