Before Bentley: Played four seasons of junior hockey, last of which came with the Portage Terriers of the MJHL (2014-15) ... was named the MJHL's 2014-15 Top Defenseman after leading the league in points among defensemen (53) ... scored 17 goals with 36 assists ... helped Terries win the 2014-15 Canadian Junior A championship (RBC Cup) ... was named to the 2015 CJHL Western All-Star team ... served as Portage's team captain ... played the 2013-14 season with the Fargo Force in the USHL ... played in 59 games with a 3-13-16 scoring line ... began his junior career with two seasons for the Winkler Flyers in the MJHL (2011-13) ... named to the 2011-12 MJHL Rookie of the Year.
