WATERTOWN, Mass. – The Bentley hockey team completed a series sweep of Air Force Saturday night with a 4-1 victory over the visiting Falcons. Four different players had the goals, and four different players had two points.

Bentley improves to 6-4-1 in Atlantic Hockey play, and will go into the final series of the first half next weekend having won three of its last four. Air Force drops to 4-5-1 in conference games.

Air Force jumped out to a 1-0 lead just 1:17 in on a goal by defenseman Phil Boje, who took a shot from the point that got under the pads of a screened Jayson Argue (Swan River, Manitoba/Nanaimo).

But Bentley responded by scoring four unanswered goals. They scored twice 18 seconds apart after Boje's goal to take the lead for good.

Senior Brett Switzer (Calgary, Alberta/Spruce Grove) set the first goal up at 6:14, from Max French (West Kelowna, B.C./West Kelowna), his 11^th of the season. Switzer with the puck, swung around the back of the net and hit French in the left face-off circle, who roofed his shot past goalie Chris Truehl. Bentley then made it 2-1 just 18 seconds later when defenseman Steve Weinstein (Los Angeles, Calif./Vernon) scored his second goal of the season off a feed from freshman Andrew McDonald.

Bentley scored a third goal of the opening period, with Andrew Gladiuk (White Rock, B.C./Nanaimo) getting his 13^th of the season. French sent a centering pass from the right wing to Gladiuk in front of the net, who tipped it past Truehl for the goal at 18:59.

Bentley added its fourth goal just 1:11 into the second period. The goal came from freshman Ryan McMurphy (Broken Arrow, Okla./Tri-City) after he freshman Kyle Schmidt (Menomonee Falls, Wisc./Sioux City) combined on a nice give-and-go. That was one of two assists on the night for Schmidt.

Switzer and McDonald each had two assists as well, and French had one goal and one assist.

Argue started his fourth straight game and made 25 saves to earn the win. He's now 3-1 on the season.

The Falcons close out the first half next weekend at AIC for a Saturday-Sunday series.
