Gladiuk Named Travel Team USA Atlantic Hockey Co-Player of the Week

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University junior forward Andrew Gladiuk (White Rock, B.C./Nanaimo) was named the Travel Team USA Atlantic Hockey Co-Player of the Week on Tuesday, the league announced. It's the second time in his career he's earned the weekly award.

Gladiuk had three goals in the two game series against Sacred Heart last weekend. In Friday's 4-1 win, he scored the tying goal 12:48 into the second period. That set off a run of three goals in less than six minutes for Bentley on its way to the victory.

One night later in the home opener, he potted consecutive two power play goals in the second period. Those were the 21st and 22nd power play goals of his career, moving him past Marc Menzione '10 for the most power play goals in the program's Division I history. The overall record of 26 is held by Richard Starck '96.

Gladiuk has gotten off to a fast start this season with four goals in the first three games. He and the Falcons are back in action this Friday, when they head to Troy, N.Y. to take on Rensselaer for the first of a two game non-conference series.
