WALTHAM, Mass. – Following an outstanding performance in the final two regular season tournaments of his collegiate career, Bentley University senior Doug Kulikowski (Pittsford, N.Y./ Pittsford Sutherland HS) has been named the Men's Golfer of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference.

Also honored by the conference, as Rookie of the Week, was Bentley freshman Ryan Daly (Beverly/Beverly HS).

Kulikowski posted a stroke average of 72.3 while helping the Falcons take first in both the Newport Classic and the Crofton Invitational. He shot a career-best and school record-tying five-under 67 to earn medalist honors at the Newport and followed that effort with a third-place finish (72-74-76-222) in the Crofton.

His performance in the two events lowered in season stroke average to 78.1. During the spring portion of the schedule, it's been a solid 76.4.

In the Newport Classic, Daly shot a two-over and career-best 74 to tie for ninth place in a 35-player event.

Two other Falcons were named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll for their performances, sophomore Tommy Ethier (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS) and senior Chris Simione (Cheshire, Conn./Cheshire HS).

Ethier shot an even-par 216 (77-70-69) to take second place in the 48-player Crofton Invitational after tying for ninth in the Newport Classic with a two-over 74. He had a stroke average of 72.5 in the two tournaments.

Simione had a 74.0 stroke average during the two tournaments. After taking third with a one-under 71 in the Newport Classic, he tied for seventh with a 75-74-76-225 in the Crofton Invitational in Maryland.

Bentley, ranked fourth in the NCAA Division II East Region, is awaiting a ninth consecutive invitation to next month's NCAA Division II East/Atlantic Regional.
