Ethier Leads Kravetz Invitational At Mid-Point; Bentley Stands in 2nd

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Bentley University sophomore Tommy Ethier (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS) will be on top of the leaderboard when the University of Rochester Kravetz Invitational resumes Saturday morning for the second and final round in Irondequoit Country Club.

Ethier shot a one-over 73 and finished the opening round with a one-stroke lead over Declan Hickton of Rochester, Kevin Keane of McDaniel and Brandon Grzywacz of Roberts Wesleyan.

Bentley's next two players on the leaderboard are seniors Chris Simione (Cheshire, Conn./ Cheshire HS) and Doug Kulikowski (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Sutherland HS). Simione is tied for eighth in a 39-man field after a 77, and Kulikowski's 80 put him in a tied for 13th.

With a team score of 311, Bentley will resume play one stroke back of McDaniel College. Only five strokes separate the top five teams in the six-team tournament.
