Yoder Recipient of First Northeast-10 Elite 24 Award

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University sophomore Ellis Yoder (Fort Wayne, Ind./Homestead HS) was named the recipient of the Northeast-10 Conference Elite 24 Award for men's golf. It was presented Monday during the conference championships where Bentley finished second.

The recently-created Elite 24 Award is presented in each conference sport to the student-athlete competing at the site of the NE10 finals with the highest career grade point average. Men's golf was the first NE10 sport to conduct its championship this year and as a result, Yoder is the inaugural recipient.

Yoder, an accountancy major, earned a perfect 4.0 GPA during each of his first two semesters at Bentley.

During the championships, Yoder tied for 32nd in a field of 50 with a 75-80-155. It was his second tournament of the season, following a 77-75-152 in the American International Invitational.
